Introduction

   As a permanent member of China Lathe Producers Association, Changsha No.2 Machine Tool Works has long been engaged in manufacturing industry of lathes since founded in 1956,now,having a staff of 1,200 people of whom over 20% are technicians on all aspects of machinofacture, owning 500 plus manufacturing installations including Friz Werner CNC, high -precision gear grinders ,large-capacity bedway grinders, medium-frequency quenching machines, etc., holding productivity of 1,00 various lathes per annum.     

   Backed with the sound experience in lathe designing and manufacturing for above 40 years and the powerful technical plant, the Works has successfully developed and produced CNC lathes, universal and gap lathes of five series covering about 100 models. In recent years, thanks to continued improvements such as bigger spindle bore, motorized top slide, motorized tailstock, etc., sales of the products have been rapidly increasing on the markets of Southeast Asia ,North America, Western Europe and Middle East. In line with the market-oriented policy, the works has also developed other machines, such as oblique-Sided Piston Ring Machine, Piston Ring Chamfering Machine, Creasing & Cutting Machine, Collective Packing Machine, etc., which pushes up its machine-building flexibility to a new high. Understanding that the quality of products is the life of an enterprise, the Works signed in Beijing is 1995, together with a total of 36 leading manufacturers of machine tools all over China, A Declaration of Quality Assurance about Machine Tools in which the undersigned made q promise to provide users at home or abroad with not only first-grade products but also first-grade afterservice.
